Ted Lasso Is Coming To FIFA 23

The beloved fictional football coach is headed to the latest edition of the iconic football simulation series.

A new club is headed to FIFA 23, and it’s probably not the club you expected.

That’s right, AFC Richmond, from the Emmy-winning TV series “Ted Lasso” is going to be in FIFA 23, which will release on September 30th.

Now, FIFA players can play as the fictional football club, being able to take control of the most memorable characters in the series, from Roy Kent to Jamie Tartt. Oh, and I forgot to mention that EA went quite all-out when it came to adding the club to the game. Not only will players be able to play as their favorite characters from the show, but they will also be able to enjoy the authentic AFC Richmond kits, along with being able to play at Nelson Road, the team’s home ground based on the real-life home stadium of Crystal Palace FC that is Selhurst Park.
